2017 was another great season for the Club across all our sides as our season review below shows:

1st XI

Lead by James Perchard in his 6th season as captain of the side, the 1s successfully won the newly reformed CI League on the final day of the season in dramatic fashion. This is the 4th year in a row that the  Club has won the premier competition in the island.

Lead by Dave Lawrenson, with the aid of some youngsters coming up the ranks and a couple of new signings, the 2s showed much improvement on the 2016 season. Very competitive throughout the year however they lost a very close and critical match against OVs at the back end of the year meaning their title aspirations never came to fruition.

Farmers Bulls

A new initiative from the JCB, the U13s Super League proved a roaring success. Coaches Mark Palmer and Paul Kemp did a fabulous job with the boys of varying ages and abilities, developing hopefully strong links to the Club for a lot of players as they will progress into the senior teams with the team winning the Plate trophy.

Farmers Minis

Paul Kemp, with his motley crew of coaches have really built on the minis over the past couple of seasons, and you can now see up to 70 young boys and girls at the Farmers Field every Sunday morning across the season.

And finally, Farmers Cricket Club would like to say thank to Carey Olsen and the rest of our sponsors for their continued support and for enabling the Club to develop.
